Longest five-a-side soccer game:UK group breaks Guinness world record

 DUDLEY, UK -- After an epic 48-hour five-a-side football match, the players from the Halesowen headquarters of a nationwide Christian group (Youth for Christ) broke the Guinness world record of 42 hours by five hours at the Goals Soccer Centre in Dudley and set the new world record for the Longest longest marathon playing five-a-side football (soccer), according to the World Record Academy:

 BUCHAREST, Romania -- Ilie Dobre, sport commentator at Radio Romania News, (Romania's National State Radio), broadcasted a 1minute 8 seconds-long goal shout during the soccer game between national teams of Romania and Hungary of the World Qualification preliminary round on 6 September 2013, (goal scored by player Ciprian Marica), setting the new world record for the Longest broadcast of a goal with one respiration, according to the World Record Academy:

 

Longest football match: UK players smash Guinness world record

  Trafford, UK -- The marathon football match organized by Nick Rose, a salesman from Stockport based Midshire Business Systems and a group of amateur players from Manchester, at Stretford High School, lasted 72 hours, the equivalent of 48 ordinary games, and finished with a score of 603 to 'the reds' Stockport Albion and 462 to 'the whites' Manchester Rovers; the match sets the new world record for the Longest football match, according to the World Record Academy:

 

Largest 5-a-side football match: Qatar breaks Guinness world record

 DOHA, Qatar -- The matches organized by the Qatar football association (QFA) and Qatar Shell on national sports day ran for 11 hours, 58 minutes and 12 seconds, and they were played by 523 participants from all over the country, setting the new world record for the Largest 5-a-side football match, according to the World Record Academy:

 KHARKIV, Ukraine -- Netherlands teenager Jetro Willems, who is 18 years and 71 days old, was selected at left back at the Euro 2012 Group B opener against Denmark - setting the new world record for the Youngest Euro Player

  The previous world record was set by Belgium's Enzo Scifo, who was 18 years and 115 days when he faced Yugoslavia at the 1984 edition.
